Two open houses were held last month to provide applicants with a background on land trusts and the state of conservation in Illinois. These sessions were to allow individuals unfamiliar with PSCC and the work of its members to learn about the work of conservation land trusts and the broader conservation sector prior to submitting an application. These open houses were designed for individuals who may be new to the land conservation community or broader conservation sector; however, everyone is invited to attend regardless of experience or background.
